In this vehicular collision case, injured Plaintiff and spouse sued the driver and owner of a loaded dumptruck with de- fective brakes which rearended her car while she was stopped at a railroad crossing. Injured Plaintiff, a 50-year-old home health nurse, sustained injuries which resulted in vestibular problems and chronic, disabling headaches, preventing her return to work and severely curtailing her routine daily activities. Case was settled for $892,000.00 just before trial.
